About the Workshop

Training presented on April 23, 2026 at 7:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (Toronto time)

Duration: 1 hour

Presented by: Camille Paule

Learn all about the life cycle of stars, from their birth to their final cosmic state. Together, we’ll explore how stars form, how astronomers classify them, and determine their evolution through to their final, often spectacular, deaths.

Participants will be encouraged to apply these concepts to our own Sun, based on its classification. You’ll also discover ways to bring stellar science into any classroom —with links to physics, chemistry, astronomy, and history.

Registered participants can join the live presentation and will be sent a recording and related resources afterward by email.
