Newfoundland Eclipse 101 (March 5, 8pm NT)

Sign up for our eclipse and safety training for teachers in Newfoundland on March 5th, 2024 at 8pm Newfoundland Time! This one hour session will cover:

• the basics: what is an eclipse;

• details on the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse;

• how to observe safely; and

• how to make the most of this amazing phenomenon for your students!

This workshop is specifically for teachers and educators on the island of Newfoundland. 

If you are a teacher at an accredited school in Newfoundland, you can request free eclipse glasses for your school from Discover the Universe once you've completed the training. The link to order glasses will be provided during the workshop.
