About The Workshop
Attention Toronto teachers!
We're happy to announce our new series of eclipse in-person workshops on the University of Toronto St. George campus. Each participant will receive a pack of 50 eclipse glasses for their students. The 90 min workshop will cover:
- what is a solar eclipse?
- details of the April 8 eclipse;
- how to observe safely;
- tips for planning this event in your school;
- hands-on activities and demonstrations to teach about the eclipse;
- ideas for multidisciplinary activities;
- distribution of eclipse glasses to all participants.
You must be a teacher at an accredited school K-12 to join this workshop - we will only confirm the exact location of the workshop to professional K-12 school email addresses.
The workshop has multiple time slots. When you register, please pick the best date for you. Registration will close 3 days before the workshop.
