About the Workshop
We’re excited to relaunch our full-day professional development workshops in Toronto in collaboration with the Dunlap Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics!
Join a dynamic team of astrophysicists and astronomy educators to explore the latest research on topics like black holes, exoplanets, and more. You’ll leave the workshop with ready-to-use classroom activities and a fresh dose of cosmic inspiration.
This free workshop is open to all teachers and professionals working in the formal education system, with a special focus on secondary school educators.
A detailed schedule will be shared soon!
Good to know:
Morning coffee and lunch are provided free of charge. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions in the registration form.
While this workshop is free, space is limited. We ask that you register only if you’re committed to attending—and if your plans change, please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone else.
This event is designed for teachers and other school professionals. If that’s not you, but you’d love to attend, you can email julie@discovertheuniverse.ca to be considered if space allows.
We can’t wait to learn and explore the universe with you!
