Presented by Julie Bolduc-Duval
Over 2200 years ago, the Greek mathematician Eratosthenes found an ingenious way to measure the circumference of the Earth with amazing accuracy. On March 21, the day of the spring equinox in the Northern hemisphere, we invite you to recreate his experiment with your students. It’s a great multidisciplinary project involving math, geography, astronomy, and history! You can also participate in the international Eratosthenes Experiment and match your data with other schools from around the world.
The webinar will be recorded for those who cannot attend the live presentation. Register now to access the webinar and the recording. It’s FREE!
