Webinar: Are We Alone in the Universe?

Webinar for teachers AND their students!

Tuesday, May 14, 2019

Offered twice during the day to accommodate more schools:

9:30 am eastern (other time zones) and 1:00 pm eastern (other time zones)

Presented by Mike Reid, Dunlap Institute

Are we alone in the universe? We have only recently begun to try answer this age-old question through science. How do scientists discover distant planets? How do we know if the conditions on the surface of these newfound planets can sustain life? And, how do astronomers define “life”?

NOTE: This special webinar is designed to be offered to students directly. Register and watch the webinar live with your class; use the chat function to share your students’ questions.

A recording will be available for those who cannot participate live. All classes and levels across Canada, and the world, are welcome!
