Webinar: Understanding Gravity
November 21, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. eastern time
Presented by Julie Bolduc-Duval
Despite the fact that we live with its effects on a daily basis, gravity remains a mystery for many. It is not always easy to explain the forces behind gravity, and answer the many questions of students: Why do astronauts “float”? What is a black hole and what would happen if we fell into it? Why are there tides?
In this webinar, we will take a look at the difficulties students face when it comes to understanding gravity, and we will discuss specific examples of cases ranging from “absence” of gravity to cases of extreme gravity.
Register now – it’s free! Registered participants will have access to the webinar recording and documents.
