Webinar: Understanding Gravity
Presented on November 21, 2019, by Julie Bolduc-Duval
Despite the fact that we live with its effects on a daily basis, gravity remains a mystery for many. It is not always easy to explain the forces behind gravity, and answer the many questions of students: Why do astronauts “float”? What is a black hole and what would happen if we fell into it? Why are there tides?
In this webinar, we will take a look at the difficulties students face when it comes to understanding gravity, and we will discuss specific examples of cases ranging from “absence” of gravity to cases of extreme gravity.
The webinar is now archived which means the documents and recording are accessible to everyone once logged in.
